*: The last three pictures were taken with Fuji Superia 400 film pushed one stop (to ISO 800). I used either a Tokina 20-35/3.5-4.5 or a Canon 28-135/3.5-5.6 USM IS lens wide open at the wide-angle end to get decent handheld shots. IS (image stabilization) was, of course, enabled when using the Canon lens. I learned two things when taking these photos:
1. even 20mm is not wide enough for these shots, I wish I had a 17mm or even a 14mm to capture the owe-striking interior of the Grand Central Ternimal;
2. the barrel distortions at the wide-angle end of both lenses are very disturbing (in case you are not familiar with the term "barrel distortion", it is a term to describe the distortion that makes an image seem to "bulge" or "swell" at the center, hence the name). If you happen to know a good distortion-free ultra-wide-angle lens, please let me know.
